Typically, no. Some clients may experience redness (normal) that subsides within 1-3 days. In these cases, a loose-fitting hat that allows the scalp to breathe properly is okay. Other than that, there is no downtime.
Results can last for 5 years or longer, depending upon how well you follow the aftercare recommendations and your skin type. A touch-up after 3 or 4 years can help maintain or enhance the results.
